Gili Island Tour is written and kept up to date by one editorial desk. It is a working desk rather than a directory of headshots: the same small group researches the pages, checks them and dates them, and no personal byline is attached to any of it.
Who writes these pages
Everything published here about island travel and touring in the Gili Islands comes from that one desk. We do not run invented staff profiles, and we do not attach photographs, job titles or qualifications to the writing. A recommendation on this site is the desk’s position, reached by reading the primary material and by walking through the same booking, permit and arrival steps a visitor would have to walk through.
How we check what we publish
Fees, schedules and regulations in Indonesia change with very little notice, so the desk works from official material wherever official material exists: the regulation itself, the operator’s own published terms, the notice issued by the port or park authority. Where a rule has not been confirmed against an official source, we say so on the page rather than rounding it into a confident sentence. Where a figure is a price we have seen quoted rather than a published tariff, the page labels it that way.
What this desk does not claim
We hold no licence, accreditation or professional registration that we have not shown you. We do not describe ourselves as certified, accredited or award-winning, and we carry no membership badge we cannot evidence. If a page ever states a credential, it will name the body that issued it and the document that sits behind it.
Corrections
If something here has gone out of date or is simply wrong, the desk would rather hear about it than not. Corrections are made on the page itself, and a page is re-dated when its substance changes — not merely when it is republished.
